3la were appointed for landscape design services for the discharge of landscape planning conditions for the erection of a detached 3 bedroom dwelling in the existing rear garden with associated garage building and swimming pool to the garden.

Due to the nature of the level changes across the site, the contemporary architecture will be split over two levels, entering the building at first floor and descending to ground floor where the landscape garden proposals provide many points of interest whilst creating cohesive links throughout. The garden can be best described as ‘a garden of rooms’ providing functional outdoor areas for relaxing, swimming, dining, garden games, entertaining and food production. A number of mature existing trees to the south of the site are protected and incorporated into the design creating a natural setting within the heart of Newport whilst screening from the neighbouring properties.
